Hall on Sunday, December 20 at 2 p.m. A big program has been prepared. Admiaaion 25c. Reserved ' seats 50c. Laat Sunday evening a few minutes before six o'clock, while O. V. Mver , two little girls were standing in tl.*» north east door o f their house, about a mile northeast o f town, three ahnfs were fired at, presumaoly the lantern which one o f the little girls carried in her hand. One o f the shots hit juat above the door jamb, another hit the barn, while the other missed entirely. The little girls had gone out aftt r some ice cream that had been le ft oi t- aide in the freezer when the shots were fired, and Mr. Myers was in the v-o. <1 shed at the time. Mr. Myera dug out one o f the I 1 - lets and undoubtedly it waa fired fro i a .22. Considerable mystery surroun a the episode, as there was no occsaaion fo r anything o f this kind, nor had tl e tamily had tiouble o f any kind with anyone, to Mr. Myers knowledge. It is to be hoped that the miscreant w ill be apprehended, as it is a serious thing to shoot at people in their own homes, even if they are not injured. H i For Sale—A 475 lb.
