Miss Nora Jarvis has been suffering the past few days with an ingrown goitre. Dr. Thompson of Stayton was called and an examination made. It is thought an operation will be necessary to relieve her. Mrs. A. H. Wolfe died Sunday at the Salem hospital, where she underwent an operation on Thursday last. She rallied nicely after the operation but began to fail a couple days later. Mrs. Wolfe is survived by a husband and three step-children. The funeral was held Monday and interment was made at Lee Mission cemetery at Salem. Rev. D. E rrett preached the auneral sermon.
