C., to proceed with the organization o f the Paisley National Hank, to he established at Paisley, l.ake county, Oregon, the Comptroller having received letters commending the project from Governor Oswald West of Oregon, and from United States Senators George K. Chamberlain and Jonathan Bourne, jr. and others. The Hank will beg'*' business with $'Jo. 000 capital, consis ting of 250 shares of $100 each; and Its Officers and five Directors will be prominent and re sponsible business men o f Paisley and vicinity. There is at present no bank at Paisley, the nearest bank being more than 40 miles distant, at Lakeview, Oregon. Paisley is growing rapidlv. and it is believed that a National Bank, con ducted upon STRICTLY BUSINESS PRINCIPLES, will pay its share holders good dividends after the first year. To secure the largest volume o f business, it is desired by myself and associates, that the 250 shares o f capital shall lx* owned as widely as possible throughout Central Oregon, there fore the undersigned reserves the right to refuse all subaenptiona offered in excess o f five shares from any one person, and all sub scriptions after the 250 shares have been taken. Payment for shares, from accepted subscribers, may lx* made on or before March 1st. 1913, to a National Hank at Port land. Oregon, to lx* selected, and temporary receipts will be given to subscribers until certificates o f stock are ready for issue. It is unlawful to receive subscriptions from corporations, firms, or associations, but only from natural persons— men and women over 21 years of age— competent to hold property in their own names. Readers o f this newspaper desiring to subscribe, are in vited to write for further information, indicating the number o f shares they desire to take, to George M. Bailey, 601 Yeon Building.
