Haven Is building an addition to his house. Earl Forreat recently rented the Frank Foster place up the river bed and will try hla hand at farm ing the coming year. Mr. Forrest left last week for Bellingham. Wn.. where It Is said there are strong attractions fo r him. and hla reurn trip la not likely to be a lonely one Geo. Hobba went up to the Stan ley. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bayn return ed home Friday from a trip to P ort land and other valley towns The Hayns were looking for a location, having recently »old their farm. They, however, were glad enough to get back to sunshine and Powell Butte after ten daya o f continual rain, and it Is not unlikely they will reinvest here and remain with us.
