They intend to have films depicting the Panama canal but were disappointed. An exciting contest is on among the pupils of the school, selling tickets to the evening show. The room which sells the most tick ets to the evening performance or takes in the most money, that room is admitted free to the show. The contest is keen, indeed. The W. W. Girls will present John Frederick Mason, at Arleta school on Saturday evening, April 23, at 8 p. m. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reese and daughter Althea, with Donald Reese, brother of Fred motored to Wood bum and Three Rivers Saturday morning, expecting to return Mon day a. m.
