The football game between Vale and Fruitland teams on Thanksgiv ing day resulted in a sweeping vic tory for Vale the score being 37 to 0. (From Enterprise of Nov. 27, 1900.) Vale may now talk over the tele phone with Fopiano, Beulah, Drcw sey, Harney and Burns for the first time. The new line is an independ ent company organized by farmers and other residents of the valleys affected. To Advertise Springs. A campaingn ti advertise the Vale Hot Springs wil be begin by the O. W. K. & N. company as soon as the buildings now being constructed are finished.. . Extend Lines. Kleetrie lights may be used from now on at 4:30 p. m. as the company has turned on power earlier for the winter months. Extensions have just been made to the southwest out skirts of town and to the bridge. Reception. A rendition in honor of the teach ins now attending Institute in Vale, was held in the fine hall reception room of the Drexcl Tuesday evening. The event was to have been given by the Civic Club, but weather interfer ing, -three ladies, Mrs. Wheeler, Mrs. Ceo. McKnight and Mrs. T. T. Nel son are responsible for the success of the occasion. Mrs. Johnson very kindly offered the use of the hotel reception hull. L. J. Hudley and Bert High have .' tai led for 'the mountains for a big hunt. Chas. Tupp of Nome came to Vale this week, also C. F. Ashton, engi neer, formerly of Nome. Mrs. H. R.
