Meets Father Here Cecil Bolton of La Grande was a member of the Dokie crowd last Saturday and upon arriv ing in Vale found his father, Sam Bol ton of Crano would also tic in attend ance. The meeting was a surprise to father and son and a most enjoyable one. Joins Booster Crowd Mrs. E. R, Burtis of Harper joined the Malheur County boosters this week when she sent an order to the Enterprise office i for some of the Chamber of Commerce booster envelopes descriptive of Mal heur county and the Warmsprings project. Moves From Welser R. N. Sim mons, manager of the Home Lumber and Coal Company moved his family over from Weiser last Saturday and are occupying the former Murry Mor ton home. From Mare Island Burton Pickle returned home Monday from Mace Island where he has been stationed for some time. His many friends are glad to welcome him home. Wheeler in Centralia Washington February 15. Tho bride is well known in Vale where she spent some of her school years and gradunted from the local high school. She is a sister of Lieutenant John'R. Wheeler former deputy sheriff here and who ha been lately transferred from Casual ofllco at Van Couver to Washington D. C. Another brother George R, Wheeler is a newspaper man at Hailey Idaho. The groom is a member of the Aerial Corps at Van Couver and enlisted at the first call for volun teers from his home, Clarks Nebraska Ho is tho son of J. A. Jandrall of Clarks who is one of the leading stock men of that section; Mr. arid Mrs. Jandrall were at the Multnomah in Portland during Mr. Jandrall'a, leave of absence but are now living at Van Couver awaiting his discharge from army duties. They will make their future home in Centralia. Wedding At Parsonage , Miss Gladys Effie Howe and Ben jamin Payne both of this country were married at the Methodist parsonage on Saturday afternoon.
