GET MAIL IN EARLY Public Can Help Problems of Christ mas Mail Rush and Facilitate Delivery. Tho public can do much to help out the Christmas rush of mail which each year threatens to swamp tho postal employees by regarding a few rules. Tho first of all is that packages should be mailed as early as possible. It is estimated that it takes twice as long to handle, tho mail that is placed in the offices at tho last monent for tho reason that it chokes up in tho terminal stations. One of the commonly disregarded rules is that of placing fancy stickers on the address side of tho letter. These stickers are to bo placed only on the back of the envelopes or package. If the public can remember to comply with a few simple rules the mails can bo handled in a quick and convenient manner with tho assurance that the "Santa Claus mail" will arrive on time.
