THE CHEMAWA AMERICAN 5 : LOCALS 4 Jfc. yvA" A A A A iW Miss White gave us an enteresting chapel talk today. The boy? and girls went out with their teachers on Friday and gathered flowers for the Easter decorations in chapel. Orin French's chapel talk this morning was of a very high character. He was loudly applauded after he had finished his address. Mr. H. N. Stoudenmeyer visited the school in his auto during the week and Superintendent Chalcraft, Mr. Turney and Mr. Larsen took a spin over the surrounding country. The cabinet department of the wagon shop has turned out a very nice center table and mantlepiece for the reception room of the Domestic Science Depart ment, and they are now in place. They are a credit to the workmanship of the department. Chemawa's lawns never looked at this time of the year as pretty as they do now. Mr. Dillstrom with his force of "Indus trials" are busy in season and out and the employes on all sides have co-operated in beautifying the grounds around their homes and departments. Between four and rive hundred choice roses have been transferred from Chemawa's nur sery to the lawns the past two weeks. The old bushes are looking well and buds are starting.
