THE CHEMAWA AMERICAN 7 LOCAL FIELD MEET Last Saturday a week we had a dual meet between the inter-school athletic associations, represented by the Ama teurs, Big Z's and the Independents. A cup was to ge given to the organization making the most points and a medal to the "all around" athlete who made the most points in the meet. The result of the meet showed that the Big Z's won, making 64 points, while the Amateurs made 61 points and the Independents 1. Levi Sortor (A) won the medal with 20 points. Other point ' winners were Eugene Anderson (Z) 15; Frank Dan (Z) 14; Amos Smoker (A) 10; Antoine Francis (A) 9; Joseph Dillstrom (A) 8; Joe Wiggins (Z) 8; Calvin Darnell (Z) 8; Walter Miiler (A) 7; John Brown (Z) G; Fred Lewis (Z) 6; Albert LaChapelle (A) 5; Louis Dan (Z) 3: and the follow ing made one point each: Willie Mose (Z), Thomas McCully (1), Joseph Purn (Z), James Moses (A), Wallace Farrow Z), Alex Covington (A), and Frank Sorrell (Z). Summary of the events is as follows: 120-yard hurdles, Miller (A), Brown (Z), McCully (I). Time 19 3-5secunds. 50-yard dash, Sortor (A), Dillstrom (A), Francis (A). Time 5 3-5 seconds. Mile run, Frank Dan (Z), Louie Dan (Z), Willie Mose (Z). Time 100-yard. dah, Sortor (A), Francis (A), Dillstrom (A). Time 10 2-5 seconds. Broad jump, Wiggins Z, Darnell Z, Miller(A). Distance 19ft. 8 1-2 in. 220-yd. hurdles, Lewis (Z), Brown (Z), Millar A 28 3-5 sec. Shot put, Anderson Z, Dillstrom' A, Sortor A. Distance 37ft 1-2 in. Pole Vault, Darnell Z, F.
