Seniors and Juniors'
Annual Party
Monday evening the Senior and
Junior Clashes gave their annual Valen

occasion. The class colors of blue and
gold crepe were well arranged about the
walls, ceiling, and around the lights.
Levi Sortor gave the opening address
on behalf of the teachers and all con

NO. 35
A postoffice located in one corner of
the room where the many Valentines
were passed out by Uucle Sam afforded
much amusement. Refreshments con
sisting of sandwiches, pickles, oranges,
nuts, candies, cocoa, ice cream and cake
were served, A warning from the power
house gave the signal that the lights
would soon go out and the jolly crowd
departed for their respective quarters.
These parties have become annual
affairs and have assumed importance in
the school life. Such a social function
as that of Monday evening is of value
aside from the entertainment it affords.
In fact, it is a part of an education
and is a vital factor in giving one an air
of poise and polish when mingling
with others that can be acquired in no
other way. They bring all that is best
in one to the surface and cause pleasant
memories to dwell in the mind for many
a day thereafter at least such will
prove true of the party of Monday night.
A number of girls went to Salem last
Saturday.
Eugene Williams and Albert Garry
went to Salem, Monday, on refreshment
business.
