The honors were about even in this half, both teams playing in the other's terri tory. In the second half Wilson, for the Farmers, kicked off to Minesinger, who runs out of bounds. Farmers are pen alized for off-side. Burke fails to gain and then punts to Smoker, who returns 10 yards. Clark fumbles and Black smiths recover. They are held for downs and Burke punts to Smoker, who re turns it 20 yards. Clark faiU to gain and they try formation No. 2. Michel punts into line and recovers. Levi gains one yard. The blacksmiths takes a brace and hold for downs. Burke gains 4 yards. Maon penalized for hurdling and Minesinger punts to Smoker who returns it 10 yards. Black smiths again penalized. With hardly less than 10 yards to go the Farmers try Smoker and Levi, but they made only 2 yards, and Clark then trys for a drop-kick, which goes wide. Minesinger kicks from the 25-yard line to Wilson, who returns it 30 yards before he is downed. Dan Jo.-es 2 yards and they try formation No. 2. A kick is made and Paul recovers it. The Blacksmiths are held for downs and they are forced to kick; Smoker returns 20 yards. Here a kick is blocked and Blacksmiths recover. The farmers hold and blacksmiths are forced to punt. Smoker returns 11 yds After; a try at the line Wilson tries punt, but Finley makes another bad pass and Wilson recovers his own fumble and gets away for 15 yards. After another try at the line Wilson tries to punt, but is blocked by Sampson, who breaks through the line. The blacksmiths try the kick ing game and Minesinger kicks to Geo. Williams, who returns 5 yards. Here another fumble was made and Mason gets ball. Minesinger tries to punt, but is tackled with the ball. Tries it 'again and Williams returns, it. 'I he farmers seemed to get a new lease on life at this point and Clark starts the fire works with a fake kick, running 20 yards, gets 20 more on the same play. Smoker iollows with end run for 20 more. With 15 yrads to go Clark car ries the ball over for the only touch down of the game and then kicks goal, making the score 6 for the Farmers and the Blacksmiths 0. With three and a-half minutes to piay .the Blacksmiths kicked to Shaw, who fumbles and Mine singer recovers. Clark kicks to Olney, who returns it 4 yards, Minesinger kicks out of bounds. Farmers' ball and Shaw loses 2 yards. Formation No. 2 fails. Blacksmiths recover the ball on kick. Farmers penalized 5 yards. With 10 seconds to play and about 1) yards for a touchdown things were interesting, hut the first play resulted in a fumble and all was over hut. thn shouting.
