Miss Iva Cox hay gone to Forrest Grove to attend a wedding, Mioses Bertha Cooper and Iva Cox epent Sunday in Salem. Some of the girls went to Salem last Wednesday morning on a shopping trip, In a postal received from Leon Parker, of the class of '06, he stated that he is getting along fine at his home in Irma, .Calif. Harry Jones attended the last day of the Chautauqua in Oregon city. He re ported that he had a fine time whie there. Miss Jane Evans came up from Port land, Monday, for a visit with Mrg. Brew er and family and to get a glimpse ot Chetnawa once again. Mr. Wills, of Salem, brought a grand square piano to the school from his store Monday evening, which is to be used in the Commencement exercises. Mrs. Hudson of Clover Blossom Farm, Tangent, Ore., and Mrs. Powell of Kla math Agency, Ore., visited Mr. and Mrs. Swaim last week. They were very much pleased with everything shown them on the grounds and about the buildings. They were greatly pleased with the intelligence of the pupils. The appearance of every room is greatly improved by the decorations.
