Our baseball team returned last Sun day from a three-da vs' trip to Mon mouth and Cor vail is. it was a trip of hard luck At Monmouth with the score 4 to 2 in our fa vbr, our bovs walked off the field owing to either the unfair decision or gross ignorance of the um pire of the game and as a result were handed a lenion by the Monmouth Nor ma I t instead of f their expenses. Mon mouth Normal has a. reputation for Un fair treatment in athletics. At; Cory a J. -lis on Friday and Saturday we met our Waterloo, being defeated 16 to 1 and 4 to 4. The Friday game was simply a series of balloon ascensions ; taken, by our boys. They returned to earth on Saturday but were again defeated 4 to 1. Their treatment at Ceryal lis was cordial and agreeable. ; j ' - :
