THE CHEMAWA AMERICAN
lb l et ic s
A BASKETBALL GAME
Last Saturday evening, while the
first team was receiving a drubbing at
the hands of the Albina Club at Port
land, a number of boys under the leader
ship of Thomas McCully went to the
gymnasium and organized two teams,
composed for the most part of boys who
had never engaged in a game of basket
ball. Those of you who think you have
seen a basket-ball game would think
differently if you could see these two
teams play. Of course the fine: points
of the game were lost sight of, but never
theless those who witnessed the ex
hibition say that no two teams ever
played harder than these boy. If you
wish to laugh, and have a good hearty
laugh, you are invited to spend an
evening with us (boys only).
