Mrs. Campbell spent Saturday in
Portland.
Sunday is Ground Hog Day. Look

Edward Ainsworth left for Portland
Tuesday on business.
Mrs. Campbell gave the seventh grade
a practical talk this week.
As Sunday was a very nice day, a
number of girls went out walking.

team last season, paid Chemawa a visit

Mrs. Chalcraft is enjoying a visit from
her friend, Miss Abbie Eells, of Tacoma,

Stanley Pedro, an old student, has re
turned to school and has entered the
Junior Class.
Mr. Ed.; Berisell and his son, Arthur,
of Siletz, were here visiting Adella
Pavne last week.

A letter from Mrs. Brewer informs us
that Gertrude is not well and they are
anxious to get back to Chemawa again.
Mr. Smith and Mr. Dei by are measur
ing for a new electric wire line from the

The eighth grade pupils thank Mr.
Derby for fixing the electric lights in
the auditorium. Harry Jones arranged
the string of lights which added so much
to the beautiful effect.
