The farmers have finished butchering the hogs this forenoon, that we are to ha ve for our Christmas dinner. The boys engaged in" the work got fried liver at dinner, for their trouble. Weeklv Review. The talk Mr. Smith gave the seniors and juniors on telegraphy was very interesting. During, his talk he ex plained the use of the instrument and also mentioned a few of the hardships of a telegrapher. Weeklv Review.. Miss Stella Robins, who has been the successful irmsic teacher at Haskell for twelve years, has resigned her position. She is now with her sister at 1004 Ellis Avenue, Chicago. Her Haskell friends wish her success and happiness in her new home. Indian Leader. An exciting game between two S. A.B. basket ball teams on Thursday evening of 1 ist week was won by the Reds. The members of the team; are . "' : The gang of carpenters who are work ing for the contractor' on the new build ings "struck' last Wednesday on account of there being a nonunion foreman in charge of the work. It is understood that they also objected to Indian boys working on the job. Sherman Bulletin. We are glad to notice how satisfactory Crawford Coleman is to the contractor in his work upon the new buildings. He seldom waits to be told what to do, but anticipates and turns out good, hon est work each day. He was accosted by a fellow workman ar.d cautioned against working too hard, but Crawford did, not pay any attention to such advice. Sher man Bulletin, Col. Jones, for several years past Supt. of the Cheyenne School, has resigned, to take effect the last of July. He has been in the government service nineteen years fifteen of which have been as school su perintendent. Commissioner- Leupp wrote him a very nice letter in apprecia tion of his long and faithful service in this capacity, in accepting his resigna tion. Mrs. Jones, who is matron, and has done efficient and faithful work, will also leave at that time. They retire from the serv.ice. Their many friends regret to learn this, but wish them hap piness and contentment in their well earned rest. The Indian Outlook.
