2 THE CHEMAWA AMERICAN 'Athletics John Peazzoni is playing left half back in the football team. The football players are hard at prac tice for their next game. There was a very hotly contested game last Saturday evening between the two Y. M. C. A. teams' the Reds and Blues. The Blues were victorious, the score being 32 to 27. The first basketball game of the season at Chemawa was played Saturday after noon between the mute school and the Chemawa Y. M. C. A.'s. The final score was 37 to 6 in favor of the Indians. Twenty minute halves were' played. The first half netted 24 for the Indians and 4 for the mutes. In the second half the redman' added 13 more ; while the mutes threw but one more basket. One foul thrown by Darnell. Referee Teabo. ACADEMIC An unusually good program was given by the seventh grade the Wednesday be fore Thanksgiving. The program was as follows.
