The employes in the mess miss Rob't
Davis since he has been sick.
The strawberries are almost ripe and
we will soon be enjoying that delicious
dish, strawberries and cream.

We notice that our gardens are get
ting green and our vegetables are all

Miss Miller has some very pretty

Nellie Duval is now working for Mrs.
Campbell and is doing very nicely in

Andrew Hodge is working in the car
penter shop and is doing nicely W. N.
For a change, Miss Miller lets us write
ghost stories in school if we do not
know any we make them up and we all
enjoy them very much. M. L,

and other places visited the shops of

Elmer Henry is doing good work at
wood hauling W. B.
Wallace Burroughs is a dairy boy but
after work, he can be seen training for a

The first team playnl a game at The
Dallas yeterday and met defeat by a
score of .1 1 to 3.
Last Saturday the Nonpareil Literary
Society ,s basket ball team defeated the
"Stay at home'' girls, in a hotly contested
game, by a score of 20 to 10 in their
favor, thus proving their superiority in
athletic as well as debating abilities.
