If a body has not had good raising
and lacks good breeding, he is to be
pitied. Help bi.n. But, if a body can

Compulsory. Education for the Indians
has extended to South D ikota and the

The girls band ol mercy had their
usual meeting on Wednesday evening.
The little girls who were there were verv
willing to help on the program for the
evening;. Many of our members were
absent on the account of having taken
two late a walk 01, Sun, lay evening.
The meeting was opeheil with a song
followed by a prayer by Miss Bowman,
another song was sung. The roll was
called and the minutes of the previous
meeting were read. The the leader of
the evening was Esthel Napoleon, and
her topic was What shall I do for
Jesus?,, proved to be very interecting
as Miss Napoleon gave us a broader idea
of what our Christian duty was Miss
De Vault and Mrs Chalcraft and
Miss Bowman each gave a short but
interesting and helpful talk on the Topic.
The closing hymn was sung, and we re
peated our watchward and adjourned.
The membeis or the- Y. M. C. A. had
en interesting meeting last Wednesday
night. Four new members joined the
association. They are as follows: Paul
Queachpalina, Amas Smoker, Walter
Miliar, and Robert Brothers. The . old
members were very glad indeed to see
.more young new joined, thus shook
bands with them.- All kinds of business
were at hand and the meeting was in
session nntil fifteen minutes to nine

were distributed. Eugene Williams pre
