Katie Henry are making beautiful bead

Mr. Westley returned to Chemavva,
after spending a vacation with his
family. M. G.
Mrs. Olney who was here for about a
month visiting her boys, has left for her
home at Toppenish, Wash. N,B.
Helen Pillstvom is a very nice house
keeper. She can do any kind of house
work you give her to do. M.D.
David Bogard who has been in the
hospital for some time, is out and back
working in his usual place. H. 0.
Martha Andy and Alice Sam are from
Fort Simcoe school and are now at Che
mawa and we are ail glad to see the two
new girls.
The Captain and his officers are trying
to improve the things in the medium
sized boys' homo and are getting things
straightened out. J. M.
Mrs. Darrow is doing some beautiful
burnt work on wood. She has a num
ber of things burned now. Wo ' are
pleased with her success. M, H.
The entertainment given by the mem
bers of the Excelsior Literary Society
last Saturday evening was just fine, It
was a good surprise, indeed, to everybody.
' The Mitchell Hall boys will have a
big meeting sometimes this week. The
object of the meeting will be to enforce
the regulations of the a fore said build
ing. G. B. II.
The engineers are very sorry that Mr,
Darrow has resigned. W. E. G.
We are ail glad to see our friend
Harry Jones out and walking around
after being confined in the hospital so
long and we all hope he well soon be
able to continue his studies agaiu.-T. P.
In Saturday evening's tntertainment
Walter Miller took part. Though a
slow and modest looking boy, acted his
part like an old stage pei former and
made the old stage actors sit up and
take notice. B. W,
The officers of the Chemawa Battalion
held a short meeting in the disciplina
rian's office in which Chas. Larsen pre
sided. The idea of this gathering was
to promote the general welfare of the
Companies, M. J. S.
Company B was divided into four sec
tions last Tuesday and new officers were
elected: Captain, John Peazzoni; 1st
Lieutenant, Peter Casey; 1st Servant,
Sam McCush; Duty Sergeants; William
Watkins, Michel Wilson, Calvin Par.

The Y. M, C. A. boys are ,(pasin,' it
on" that they aro to have a "FeIlohip
Luncheon" in their new hall in the near
future. There will be a program on
that night by some of the members, If
you want to have a lot of fun here's
where you can get it. Hot hand will be
all on the go.
