Leon Parker taught the fourth grade Wednesda', and he is a very good teacher. 1 Alice Williams is teaching Nellie Sloan and Lizzie Galbreath how to ride on the wheel. The gardeners are sitting out some strawberry plants just west of the root house. Washington Howeattle, of Mora, Washington, was a Chemawa visitor Thursday John Benson repaired the chairs of the Y. M. C. A. reading room, Wednesday afternoon. Alfred Lane is night engineer this week. Alfred is one of Mr. Lovelace's most re liable boys. The weather is nice and sunny now, and' the boys have commenced to play baseball. Lena Charles is expecting her friend Edith Peone here some time next month from California.
