Teddie Stephenson has lots of fun riding
his new tricycle,
Louie John is becoming an expert press
man, and is not to be exceled by everyone
at setting type.
Mis. Lillian White of California is visit
ing her sister Mrs. Farrow.
Joseph Brignone left Wednesday for
Cathlauiet, Wash., to work a few days.
The band is practicing some hard pieces
of music now, which will enable them to
play the less difficult music with ease.
Cora Richardson is a very nice house1
keeper, she is learning us how to be house
keepers and we are learning pretty good.
The school-room is the place where we
get our schooliug and we should be quiet
in there and not annoy our teacher, if we
do talk we are disobeying our teacher. "
The members of the Nonpariel society
want to make up and do betttr than they
did this week, or some other society will
be in the lead.. They had a very good de
bate, however.
Mary J. Smith has just finished a very
beautiful piece of Battenburg which has
taken her two years to make. Any one
wishing to see this beautiful piece of work
may call on the Priscillas'on Monday even
ing at the usual time of meeting.
Joe Bittles, one of our smallest boys, be
lives in being up to date. He gets the
other small boys to ride him in bis ''Au
tomobile" (Wheelbarrow) and is also a
good frieud to his playmates, when they
have something good to eat.
There is a lot of work to be done in the
Commissary. There is unpaekiug to be
done besides delivering thiugs to various
departments; the carpenter, Mr, Woods,
is also hard at work with some of his
boys fixing up the cellar lor various things
which are to be stored in there. And now
the "Commissary rats," as we are called,
are hard at work cleaning up, putting things
in good order, and also making all the
room we can for other thirgs.
How shall We Make our Schoo!
and Teacher Happy?

To make our school and teacher happy,
we must obey our teacher. We must be
good boys and girls and to our teacher.
Don't read like a dead person we muet read
for life and don't be ashamed when you
read. Don't play in the school room let
us study hard.
How shall we make our school happy,
you must read 'with expression not in
montone and you will make your teacher
happy. .You must write good and plain so
your teacher can read it and she will be
please.
To make our teacher and school happy
we must be good and kind to others and
try and make them happy our teacher
and classmates and others too. And try and
to do our best in ourstudys and be good
childern and do what is right.

To make our school happv we must keep
clean before we went to school. We must

teacher and keep clean your arm, face and
good maiuing. We must quit during our
school and study our spelling.
