tery, a mediocre, (wan ft?) however are vela
tlon to many of the college pliyers. In
fact, the Indiana seemed to strike out their
men at will, Robertson and Kelly being
the only two men who hit anfely.
star's fielding was commendable. AH
the U. O. men did far better work in the
Held than at the hat, yet the errors were
not wanting.

The Indians defeated Dickinson on our

secured first place in every event except th

Frank Mt. Pleasant broke Carlisle iecord

Pleasanl's time being 54 seconds.
John Waletsi made new records i-i the
hammer and shot, Increasing Wheelook's
record in the hammer throw of 107 rVet 5
inches to 112 feet 10 inches and Phillip's
record 36 feet 11 inches in the ehot put to

. One of the bent performances of the day
was Hummingbird's win iu the one mile
run. His time of 4 minutes 48 4-5 secouds,
shows that he Is In the first class In long
distance running.
Wilson Charles showed up string In the
high and broad jumps, and Antf ll's win of
the half mile run was a very plucky and
credi'able perform auce. The Red Man
and Helper. .'
