Gov. Fletcher's Lecture.
(Iiv. Fletcher gave a very interesting
lecture m lnt Friday evening to the 5(K)
pupils and employes or Chtmawa. Ilia
subject "Real and Moat Life" was handled
In Hi t.dmirable manner by the lecturer.
The lecture was brim full of wit and hu
timr and the Governor kept his audience in
a nearly continuous roar of laughter. At
time lie was compelled to slop in order to
jtiv them a chance to get quiet so tliat he
cnild proceed with his lecture.

Massasoit Success Club.
The Mnssasoit Rucks Club held its
second regular meeting Monduy evening,
February, 10: h , l!)()3. owing lo the fact
that a sociable was held on its regular
time (Saturday) of meeting.

Several of i lie members who were on the
program were absent, either on aeconutof
work or sickties, but otherwise the pro
gram was very entertaining, and sspecial
ly the one which Mr. smith gave. It was '
an unexpected treat for the Club and it
was certainly very much enjoyed, and all
listened with keen Interest.
The debate was exceptionally &ond and
Bhowed that both sides had studied their
puts very well and brought out good
arguments on both sides of the question.
The decision, which was a tie. showed
that tho speakers were well matched.
There being no further business, on mo
tion, the Club adjourned until the next
meeting.
