He m ade a stro n g appeal to the men p re s ent to include a bible class in th e ir t( tirse of study, not only for the lite r ary know ledge to be gained, hut even m ore for the sp iritu al experience to be derived. D u rin g the present week the association .vili follow up the m ove m ent started by Mr. R hodes, and will give every m an in the I University a chance and ..n invitation to join a class in the stu d y of the scrip tu res. E ig h t courses are being offered, som e of them being led by prom inent m em bers of the U niversity faculty as P resident C am p bell and D r. Schafer. F resh m en E lect. T he largest F reshm an class in the h isto ry of the U niversity m et M onday evening to elect class officers for the com ing year. F o r a tim e sectional strife was m uch in evidence, hut in the end, goodw ill prevailed.
