C am p bell reccom ended the estab lish m en t of a biological statio n on the ocean beach south of Coos Bay. It lias been found by Prof. A. R. S w eetser, of the d ep art m ent of biology, th a t a section ol that beach is p a rtic u la rly rich in m aterial for biological research and is also con v eniently situ ated to serve as the loca tion of the statio n .
