SOME FOOTBALL GOSPEL A t hand is a copy of the K ansas University Weekly. If the K. U. W eekly keeps up the standard se* by this first issue it will prove it- self the brightest paper upon our exchange list. From beginning to end it is full of bright hum or and spicy wit. We believe if other col- lege weeklies would sprinkle more hum or and spice in their issues, they would find a more enthusias- tie appreciation am ong the pa- trons “ Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.” ------ A nother football season is dawn- ing, and if the U niversity of Oregon is to have a creditable eleven, our latent football spirit m ust be revived and the team supported with the same loyalty th at the crack team of 1895, 1899, and 1900 were backed up.
