T. Matlock has moved to Carlton. He expects to re-enter school in ’oi. Several of the students will hold pro- trad e 1 meetings for their churches at the close of the term. Some of the class in oratory have been delivering ex - tem poraneous speeches. It was extrem ely enjoyable for the rest of the class. The new catalogue will be out June I. The them e was “ Reward for Ser vice.” The prom ptness with which the meetings are begun and the heartiness with which the m ajority present enter the services m ike them an inspiration to all who attend. The association, realizing that prayer is the most affective means of receiving blessings, and wishing to obtain the greatest possible benefit from the sum m er Conference, instituted a prayer m eeting to he held in Heady hall at io a. in. each day during the session of the Conference. These m eetings are being well attended. The m eeting next W ednesday 23d, will be led by Miss Leila Straub. Subject: The S tu d en t’s Prayer, Ps. 19:1-14. A. F.
