M When I first went to lobby days, I was very quiet. Even though
my representative, Alan Brown didn't seem to listen to me, we
were joined for lunch by Brad Witt, the
representative from Scappoose (Dist. 31)
and he got an earful of my complaints
about Homecare workers having to bargain
over Workers' Compensation every single
contract. When I learned that Rep. Witt
had drafted legislation to make Workers'
Comp a permanent part of our contract,
I was elated.”
