All the fellows in the shop; those on the oiling crew, the painting crew, and in the division office, know ing Mac needed help and needed it quickly, gave generous donations. Mac tried to thank each one who contrib uted, but .he? says he kndws he has missed some, because there were donà- tions from the crews. He has asked me to put words of thanks in the magazine, as they would reach the people he has missed. So, as, Mac Would say, "Thanks, fellows, I appreciated it no end, .and won’t forget for a long time.” The oiling and patching crews, who departed in April, from all reports, are doing fine,; Three men left with the crews—Roland Shaw and Melvin Wil lis, oiling crew; Bert Johnson, patching crew. Thé other fellows might have looked worse, but I doubt it. Joe Sellers and Jim Mutchler showed up for work one bright morning, both with beautiful black eyes. Now a black eye is not just something that conies with a certain season. Jim Mutchler was the first to be questioned on the subject of- black eyes and where do you get them. Jim would make no statement. Next to be questioned on the same subject was Joe Sellers, Also no statement. So ill that can be said on the subject is, fel lows you’d better duck faster the next time; Francis Hamilton, division office, can now be called "auntie.” We think she is right proud of the new name too.
