Petition for charter by Tillamook Chapter No. 15, approved by mail bal lot and charter granted September 27, 1943. Petition for charter by Crater Lake. An attempt to appoint a District Director for District 3, to fill the va cancy created by the transfer of Tom Edwards from Roseburg to Klamath Falls, was not successful. Election of District Directors for 1944 was completed by mail ballot with the following results: District 1: Director, Ivan Dakin; Alternate, H. C. Broadwell. District 2: Director, LeRoy Boldt; Alternate, F. D. Eason. District 3: Director, W. P. Laws; Alternate, J. G. Toole. District 4: Director, Tom Edwards; Alternate, C. B. Clifton. District 5: Director, E. F. Chidsey; Alternate, C. H. Armstrong. Mr. Stiffler proposed committee as signments for the coming General Council Meeting as listed below.
