Resolution NO. 96-221 Date Approved: 7/28/96 Subject: Rescind Resolution 96- 178 and approve SODAK Agreements THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Siletz Tribal Council hereby approves of rescinding resolution 96-175; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tribal Chairman be, and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and deliver, on behalf of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon, such documents, Sales Orders, and Sales Agreements as may be necessary to effect the above-described Sales Agreement and Telecommunication Accounting System Agreement as required by Sodak in such form containing such terms as the Tribal Council approves, such approval to be conclusively evidenced by the signature of the Tribal Chairman thereon; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon expressly consents and submits to the jurisdiction of state or federal court sited in the State of Oregon for any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to the Agreements executed in furtherance of the Resolution, and to that end waives the defense of an inconvenient forum to the maintenance of such action and waives any requirement that tribal court or other tribal forum remedies be exhausted. The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon expressly grants a limited waiver of sovereign ■*-------- immunity as to any actions or arbitration from any dispute arising under said contract with IGT and Sodak; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Tribal Chairman be, and hereby is authorized and directed to take such other action necessary, required, and appropriate to cany out the purposes of this order; and BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Siletz Tribal Council take the above described actions pursuant to the powers granted and specified in the Constitution and Bylaws of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon. Resolution NO. 96-223 Date Approved: 7/28/96 Subject: Chinook Winds Investigator-Temporary Change from Part Time to Full THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Siletz Tribal Council hereby approve of changing this position from a part time to a full time position; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED at the end of December Council directs the Commission to assess if they still are in need of a full time position and budget appropriately. Resolution NO. 96-224 Date Approved: 8/3/96 Subject: U.S. Bank Extension Lakeside Village THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Tribal Council approves the extension of the loan with U.S. Bank to March 15, 1997. The Tribal Chairman, Delores Pigsley, and the Tribal Council Secretary, Mary Fisher, are authorized to sign the necessary documents to extend the loan from U.S. Bank.
