Certified Typing Tests If you are interested in applying for a clerical job with the Siletz Tribe you can schedule a typing test with the Personnel Department at 444-4240. The typing test will be valid for a six month period. Once you pass the minimum (40 w.p.m. for most jobs), you will not need to take another typing test for any clerical job you apply for within six months from certification. If you need to work on your typing skills, the Tribe has typing programs installed on some of the Tribal computers that you can have access to. Call Personnel if you are interested in using the typing tutors. Temporary Jobs Periodically the Tribe has temporary vacancies due to employee seperation. The types oi positions vary, and may last anywhere from a couple of days to 6 months. If you are interested in Temporary work, please submit a Tribal application to Personnel and indicate what type of work you would be interested in.
