SItËTZ, OREGON MISS SILETZ APPLICATIONS BEING TAKEN MISS SILETZ GUIDELINES OF ROYALTY: (1) Cand¡dates must be enrolled tribal members. (2) Candidates must be single with no dependents. ^C andidates for Miss Siletz must be age 14 to 18. (Must be 14 by September 1). (4) Must be able to attend all designated o rg a n iza tio n a l m eetings, a ctiv itie s , parades, fund raisers and scheduled appearances, unless a written request is submitted to the pageant coordinator and absence is excused in advance, (5) You will be disqualified if you miss three scheduled events without just cause and your duties will then be performed by the first runner up. (6) You must be drug and alcohol free, any misconduct will result in disqualification' from the court. (7) ff at any time you become pregnant, you will be disqualified and will lose your title. (8) You must have full regalia. (9) You must have a willingness to dance at ail pow wows and scheduled activities. (Assistance with dance instruction will be available, if needed). (10) You must have a willingness to speak in front of a large group. (1T)You must be willing, by your behavior to represent your tribe in the best possible manner. (12) You are expected to show good judgement and not participate in activities that would bring adverse publicity to the Tribe While you are a member of the court. (13) The above guidelines apply to each candidate. If not honored, you will be disqualified from the court and will forfeit any .title won. (14) There may be Other requirements not mentioned in these guidelines at this time Which you will be required to follow. LITTLE MISS SILETZ GUIDELINES OF CENSUS SUPPORTS MINORITIES (7) If at any time during the year you become pregnant, you will be disqualified and lose your title. (8) You must have full regalia. H NAME AGE The Bureau of the Census is actively recruiting "enumerators" in Lincoln County and encourages applications from those who consider themselves to be of a minority classification. Census Taker assignmehts are expected to last 4 to 6 weeks paying $6 per hour and 24 cents per mile. The majority of work will involve gathering census information from local and rural residents throughout the county before and after Census Day...April 1.
