School children will h av e th e ir h e a rin g tested during the day. H eadstart children will be included in the screening. Adults who wish to be screened m ay come to the T ribal Com m u n ity C e n te r on Thursday the 21st from 5-8 p.m . Adults m ay also be screened on Saturday the 23rd, but only by appointment. New Telephone System Operational With a little bit. of luck and lots of hard work, the new telephone sysem is installed and working. Occasionally there a re problems with individual extensions, but overall the system is working well. Most of the staff have the new phone system down pretty well, so calls a re handled quickly and efficiently. We ask your continued patience, however, as some calls will take m ore tim e to answ er than others. If you need to reach any Siletz staff person, please call 444-2532, and the Receptionist, D arlene Carkhuff, will gladly transfer your call.
