BALLOTING
Tribal members wishing to vote absentee must
apply for an absentee ballot.
Applicants must sign the request for absentee
ballot and return it to the Election Board. (This
signature will be compared with outer envelope when
returned.)
Tribal voter’s printed name, and signature, must
be the same as on the official Tribal rolls.
Requests for absentee ballots must be received by
the Election Board in sufficient time for absentee
ballots to be mailed to the voter to complete them,
and return them to the Election Board no later than
4:00p.m., February 4,1984.
To All Tribal Members: The Election Board will be
mailing out Absentee Ballots soon. Anyone wishing to
vote by Absentee Ballot must apply for an Absentee
Ballot. These applications can be obtained in the
Siletz News Newsletter, at any of the area offices, or
by writing to the Election Board. Please remember
that these Absentee Ballots must be returned to the
Central Office, P.O. Box 549, Siletz, OR. 97380 (either
hand delivered or by mail) on Government Hill by 4:00
p.m. on February 4th, 1984, in order to be counted.
