SIL E T Z NEWSLETTER Oregon Collection £ ¿¡c Si i f O * V n/7 CONFEDERATED TRIBES OF SILETZ IN D IA N S BOX 549, SILETZ, OR 97380 Alices Tavern team representing the Siletz baseball team participated in an all Indian Baseball tournament at Toppenish, Washington June 27th and 28th. The Siletz team finished in second place. The team played against six other teams to work their way up to the championship game. They lost 4-5 to the Scalpers from Toppenish. Front row: Brett Lane, Randy Lane, Bristo Bayya, Leon Metcalf, Wazzy Case, Bill Wheeling. Special recognition was given to Leon Metcalf and Bristo Bayya, who were named "ALL STARS.” And Randy Lane the Mr. Hustle award.
