Anybody interested in finding out more about horses, riding and how to take care of horses are welcome. There will be a door prize. There will be books available to read about horses. There were four new members who joined the Ridge Riders: Beverly Grant, Donna Reynolds, Art Haight and Heidi Gallaty. On September 26 John Siedelman lead a trail ride up toward Buxton Lookout and up in the hills above Rogers Park. Riders were: Tom, Grace, Lee Laithrup from Battleground, Washington, Ellen Bodenhammer, Christy Allen, Leslie and Dolly Keenon, Elly Paige- Scappoose, Mr. Bleedsoe of Rainier, Glen Reynolds and his daughter. The ride was a nice long ride. By late afternoon all riders got soaked from the heavy rain storm. Next Ridge Riders meeting will be October 29, at 7:30 at the West Oregon building.
