The place to come is the Jewell Grange Hall. Then, after the luncheon, you can spend the afternoon visiting with your neighbors or maybe get up a game of Pinochle or Bingo. Do you know of any friends who haven’t been out to these meetings? Invite them to come join the gr^up. The Jewell Valley is fortunate in having a community school. The school is a non-profit organization which brings classes and the facilities of the public school to all interested members of the Jewell-Mist- Birkenfeld and Elsie areas. The advisory council meets at 3:30 pm on the second Wednesday of each month and is open to the public. Have any ugly pounds you would like to get rid of? A TOPS group meets weekly at 7 pm on Tuesdays at the Jewell School. They will help you to Take Off Pounds Sensibly. Two public services offered valley residents, are the open shop from 6-9 pm. This is open to adults down through the junior high school class. Younger students are allowed if accompanied by their parents. The library is also open to the public from 7 to 9 pm. Dobson, PhD in the challenging new film series “Focus on the Family”. Dr. Dobson will be speaking to parents on subjects such as; The from the state library. The Lower Columbia Mothers of Twins Club will meet Thursday, January 29 at 7:30 pm in the home of Mrs. Jennie Sexton, 190 Sherwood Drive, St. Helens. All mothers of multiples are invited to attend. The meeting will finalize plans for the February fashion show to be presented by The Rabbit Hutch Children’s Clothing and the March clothing/equipment exchange.
