Tire windows of the station were broken out, causing at least $1800 in damages, according to Bill Hawkins, station owner. “I got a call around 3:30 in the morn ing to eome to the station, said Hawkins. “There was a lot of glass lay ing around and all the windows, except two, were broken out,’’ he said. John Steele, station employee, heard that the unidentified suspect was evicted from Lew’s Place, located ijear the sta tion. “I guess he got mad and came over to take it out on us,” he said. I wondered, but I kept hearing it. z\ficr a while I saw the lady from Lew’s.pull out of the back and I thought it must'have been her. throwing out bottles.“ she 'continued. “1 didn't think much about it until we pulled past the station and saw all the broken glass,” she said. “Then I called the police,” she added. NW Agricultural Show scheduled An 8,000 square foot display of Italian agricultural equipment and machinery will be among the featured exhibits at the 12th annual Northwest Agricultural show scheduled for the Portland Exposition center January 27, 28 and 29 according to manager Jim Heater. Noon luncheon speakers will include Will Rogers, Jr., Barbara Keating, representing Consumer Alert; and Dr. Mel Westwood, professor of hor ticulture, Oregon State University.
