HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Columbia County Planning
Commission has fixed the 29th day of March, 1979 at 7:30 pm at the
Vernonia High School as the time and place for a public hearing for
the purpose of taking testimony, either written or oral, to consider the
proposed comprehensive plan for the Urban Growth Boundary line.
Comprehensive Plan inside the Urban Growth Boundary and the
Management Agreement for this area.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of
Oregon, will receive sealed bids for the remodeling of the Columbia
y Emergency Operations Center. Said bids will be received in
the onice of the Board of County Commissioners, Gloria Salvey

»7051, who has been, by order of the Board of County Commissioners,
designated their agent to receive all bids and notices. Bids will not be
by the designated agent after 1:30 p.m. on the 28th day of
March, 1979. Said bids will be opened in Room 308 of the Columiba
County Courthouse, on the 28th day of March, 1979, at 1:30 p.m.
Any disqualification statements filed herein by a public contracting
agency, as defined in ORS 279.011, shall be received on or before 1:30
p.m. on the 28th day of March, 1979. All prospective bidders should
keep m mind that the specifications for this proposed remodeling
project can be seen at the office of designated agent for receipt of bids
between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from the 1st day of
March, 1979 until the designated date and time for closing bids.
No bids will be received or considered by the Board of County
Commissioners for Columbia County, Oregon, unless there appears
on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid, a statement
the bidder, or an officer with authority to sign for the
bidder should said bidder be a corporation, partnership, or other such
business entity, that all provisions of ORS 279.350 shall be complied
with. Should a bid, once opened, reveal the absence of this promise by
the bidder, then said bid will be declard void and shall not thereafter
be considered.
The County reserves thé right to reject any or all bids and accept
the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
This advertisement shall be published for two consecutive weeks in
The Chronicle and Sentinel Mist, The Clatskanie Chief, The Scappoose
Spotlight, The Rainier World and The Vernonia Freedom.
