Johnnie Brown, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brown was quite badly burnt around the face and eyes when he lit a match and threw it into the gasoline tank of a discarded car near his home. The explosion blew him about 20 feet. The week before, his mother was kicked by a horse in the shoul der and hip. She was so close that no bones were broken. Alex Cruickshank of McMinn ville was up Sunday fishing in the Willamina creek.
