Junction will celebrate their fifty-
f 'f h wedding anniversary on Thanks-
piv'ng day with a family reunion at
the Buell Grange hall, with a pot
luck dinner at noon. Any friends of
the family who care to join them
there are invited. Open house wil'
be held all day that friends may
drop in and see Mr. and Mrs. Ray
Elmer Leith has enlisted in th<
United States navy and has gone tc
San Diego. Calif., for training.
Mrs. E. G. Hilliard and two chil­
dren have returned from Olympia
Wash., where they spent severa’
weeks with her mother. Mrs. Hilliard
is much improved in health.
Retha Blanchard spent Tuesda}
night with F’orenee Blanchard.

Sheridan and Mrs. Chas. Ray were

Two young stray horses spent the
last week or so around the home of
Jesse Gearhart. Last Friday one had
the misfortune of falling into a creek
and sustaining injuries that neces­
sitated the city marshal being calle«’
to give "powder and lead anesthetic.**
