Beers who is head sawyer for the Hallin Lumber company at Lyons, has purchased the interest of his partner, E. L. Walters in their home on West Main street Mr. Beers an nounced that he plans on extensive infprovements and building in the spring. The house has been com pletely renovated and all modern appliances installed in the last few months. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Tremblay and fami'y, John and Ethel and M’ss Elsie Abrahamson visited Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Johnston at Tpft Heights Sunday. Monday Mr. and Mra. Johnston visited at the Tremblay home. The ladies are sisters. Mra. Ed Nygard, under the care of I)r. Tomlinson, is recovering satis factorily from the wound on the back of her leg just below the knee, inflict ed by a police dog ten days ago. The dog had just been brought from Port land. The agonising fear of rabis was added to the suffering from the bite of the animal. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Linton moved to McMinnville from Corvallis Sun day. Lynn entered Linfield Monday, Mrs. Linton will remain at Corvallis until after the first of October when she will be transferred from the farms security office there to the McMinnville office. Mrs. Wanda Wallace of Newport spent the week-end at the home of her sister, Mrs. Al Newby. Lyle Dent of Cresswell, Ore., s|»ent from Wednesday until Thursday with Morris Branson.
