shown in Brookings is a new con
cept, a new approach for com-

The dates had to be changed
to Friday and Saturday nights,
beginning at 8 p . m .
The show will be held in the
Grade School gym, and is spon
sored by the American Legion
Chetco Post 138, for the benefit
of the Legion Community Hall.
There will be local entertain
ment throughout.

KIDS PARTY
The Brookings-Harbor Lion's
Club are making plans now for
their annual Hallowe'en party for
the youngsters of the community.
The party, which will begin as
usual with a parade, will begin
as usual in front of the Pilot office
and the kids will march to the
high school.
The big night is slated for
Thursday, October 31st, and the
kids are to form at 7 p .m .
There will be entertainment
for the young'uns, judging of c o s
tumes, refreshments for all and
a sawdust scram ble.
In years past this has drawn
out about 400 youngsters.
