Chetco River Bowman Meet February 22 The second m eeting of the U p per Chetco 4-H club in A rchery w as held F riday, F ebruary 22. The leader, Clive Berry, suggested that m em bers should have th e ir quivers m ade by th e next m eeting w hich is to be Friday, M arch 1, 7:30, at the schoolhouse. Due to an oversight last w eek, A lan P ayne’s nam e was om m itted from the list of officers of th e Chetco River Bowman. Alan is th e vice president. T. C. Leeds was m ade assistant leader. Emily Leeds, R eporter Bir.hday Party Held Mrs. Bud McCourt en tertain ed a group of the younger set and th eir m others, at her home on th e j ai'ternoon of the 20th in honor of th e first birthday of her son, M arty, whose bithday r e a l l y ■ comes on W ashington's birthday. An afternoon of games and con versation was enjoyed by th e group, w ith M arty receiving m any nice presents. The hostess served refreshm ents to the group late in the afternoon.
