the first place in Oregon, but had
been judged as the fifth best in
the National G range contest in
com petition w ith all the other
state winning program s. The yel

an expedition up the Amazon in
South America. K err had made
the trip last year as well.
This year he met two mission
aries in New York, and went to
South America w ith them for a
three week stay. He w ent into
the jungles and retu rn ed w ith
Indian relics, such as a bow and
arrow .
