Brookings Items Mr. and Mrs. William M urphy, Union Grove, Wisconsin spent the past five days visiting his son, Joseph M urphy and family. The senior M urphys left Tuesday for Reno and the trip back east Jo an Frazier, the dau g h ter of Mr. and Mrs. Fadling is now up and around after undergoing an operation at St. Joseph's hospital in Eureka, California. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Shehan had ■visitors this past week. Their daughter, Colleen Johnson, and her husband, Raymond, of Ft. Riley, K ansas, visited here about a week. He is on furlough from that station. They left for Coos Bay w here they will visit his folks. Mr. and Mrs. W. Hysum are in S eattle on business for a feu day.
