The firs t w eek of cam p was for the younger members, those up through the fifth grade. The sec ond week olders club m em bers a t tended camp. It is hoped th a t in the not too d istan t future C urry county will have a 4-H cam p site of its own. T here are three possible are as open fo r consideration a t the pre sent time, one is located up the Rogue River, the other tw o are th e Boise p ark area which con sists of five to eight acres and the I Zahnie C rocket site which has a school building located on it. S atu rd ay and Sunday. A ugust 25 and 26. is the week end planned for the 4-H leadership cam p up the Rogue River. Four-hers will have a p a rt in the county fa ir at Gold Beach this week end. On opening day, Thursday, a t 1 p.m. the 4-H home ecnomics judging contests begin. At 10 a m. on F riday 4-H live stock and other 4-H contest and dem onstrations v. ill be judged. S aturday is the big day when the judging is completed. The dress revue will be judged a t 11 a.m. At the Queen's Banquet and Coro nation a t 6:30 S aturday night the presentation of 4-H aw ards will be made. The 4-H dress revue and style show will follow immedi ately a t 7:30 to climax the 4-H events for this years fair.
